Alright!

Here I am with my favorite television drama series.

CSI.

Short form for <Crime Scene Investigation>.

It is a cool show of showing characters finding the truth behind the crimes.

However unlike other police dramas,

It does not focus on the detective work,

but on the forensics.

Forensics,

Is all about science.

It shows how science is used in:

Extracting DNA,

Autopsy,

Lifting fingerprints,

Chemical analysis,

Ballistics,

Blood splatter velocity.

In a way, it is really educational,

Learning science outside the classroom.

The forensic work is shot in close up and unique angles,

Making them look very interesting.

There are also 3D models and animations as the character explained how certain events happened.

The main characters, are knowledgeable and likable,

Instead of some shows that make viewers hate them.

Watching them use the latest technology to solve crimes is really fun.

I personally like Dr Raymond Langston.

He is smart,does things thoroughly and

Is able to think up of unique ideas that no one else thought up of.

Another interesting aspect of the show is the always different MOs (Modus operandi or methods of operating ).

And the killer would always use strange ways to kill his victim(s).

Or the body would have an extraordinary Cause Of Death.

Or to spice things up a bit ,

There will be a serial killer once in a while.

The show is immensely popular in the US that they created two spin off series:

CSI: MIAMI

CSI: NEW YORK

Millions view the shows weekly on Us broadcasting station,CBS.

And the latest episode is out today!

Report 'CARD' 5DS :YUGIOH (Children's Card Games)

Huh? What's this???

Well,

We do meet again TOO soon...

Now I am going to talk about my new hobby(2 years old only!!! Gaming is 7 years old...).

That is the best card game in the world :

YU-GI-OH !!!

Well, that is Japanese for 'King of Games"(well it certainly matches its name...)

I saw the game when I was in Primary 2, but I didn't get then and was not interested in it.

But last year there was a surge of playing Yugioh in our class and not wanting to miss out, I joined in to play the game.

The game is mainly about you having a deck of cards which you can control monsters , use spells and activate traps.Sounds easy but it is even harder than chess.

It is no children's card game as some claims it to be.The complexity of the game is so deep that attracted more than 100,000 people playing as you can create endless combos with the cards you have.

However most decks needs a main structure to determine is main type what types of combos can be created.To do this,you need to work on a specific deck type like warriors or spellcasters and to strengthen it ,you will need to buy booster packs,containing cards that can boost your deck(duh!)

Right here I have a Gold Series 2010 box,an annually released packed containing some of the best cards in the game.

There are ten packs,with two gold rare foils in each pack.

Overall ,it is an interesting experience playing the game with my classmates.

Addiction Report 453 :Games (Addiction!)

Me again.

ONE QUESTION FIRST:

Back to the point.

Hobbies.

Mine is playing computer and console games.

Oh wait.

"Playing" games is not the right word.

I treat gaming more than just a hobby.

Yeah.

Gaming is a part of me.

The right word is HARDCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one that sends shiver to n()()bs' spines...

The one that make people who call themselves 'gamers' down the drain...(tsk tsk)

The one that 'pwn' others on World of Warcraft...

The one that everyone looks in awe in LAN shops...

OKAY! OKAY! They got the idea.

Yep.

that's me.

I am the hardcore gamer.

Games to me is no longer a type of entertainment, but a DEVOTION .

When I play games, I can do just about anything to play it from the start to end in one try.

I hate it when someone disturb me in the middle of games.

My favorite types of games are role-playing games(for the wide use of imagination),first-person shooting games(for the realistic feel) and action/adventure(for the speed and combos).

The longest time I continuing played games without stopping(erm... except eating and going to toilet) was 46 hours.

They call me insane about games.

Why?

I played that long not to finish the game (duh!), but to completely finish the game.

Huh?

Okay.Let me explain.

Finishing the game means to beat the final boss.

and watch the final credits.

Completely finishing the game means even deeper.

Complete the game in the hardest mode , collect all pieces of items possible and travelling to every place in the game possible.

Insane right?

I m a 'perfectionist' gamer.

That's why I have a whopping 876355 gamer points on XBOX360(rewarded to unlocking achievements in games).

I own a XBOX 360 Elite and a PS3 80 GB Edition.

An Alienware Pro Gaming Computer and a Dell XPS Gaming Laptop.

NO, I DO NOT OWN A WII(sound like wee-wee).

IT DEGRADES THE TERM GAMER.

I am proud to say that my game collection is one of the biggest in the world.

I have almost every top games in the world in collector's edition,special edition etc...

My most expensive piece is the third version of the Atari Video Computer System.

It can fetch up to US$600,000 in an auction.

There are many others,like Halo 3 Game of the Year Edition with Master Chief Helmet, Batman Arkham Asylum with batarang and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition with Profession Night Vision Goggles, just to name a few....

I just counted.

There Are 1,097 games in my collection!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite game in it is HALO 3(no doubt)!!!!!

However, having such an expense hobbies has its consequences....

I fork out $500 each month to buy games....

Meaning I save my pocket money ,cut down unnecessary spends and pick up jobs in holidays(legally) ....

Tough, but interesting.

My mother is not bother by this as long as I ace(well, sort of...) in my studies.

An understanding mother...

IS WHAT YOU NEED IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A HOBBY LIKE THIS...

I am pretty much addicted.

But I have control over it ,UNLIKE SOMEONE ELSE(pointing fingers).

I make sure I playing only limited periods on school nights after finishing my homework and only night time on weekends.

See?

CONTROL!!!

That's what you need to be both seriously addicted to games and still do well in school.

Like I said before, this is part of me.

I WILL NEVER GIVE UP GAMING.

I MADE IT MYSELF!!!

That's true!

You see, I am not a fan of food that is home cooked. But in most times, they are the only choice left.

When I have a chance, I always try to make something for myself.

A love for fruits, I always try to make some fruit deserts.(Even though most of the time I fail to create something like food and make a mess in the kitchen ).

This time , a success!

TA-DA-DA!!

I present you the 'mango soup'!

Sounds weird, but totally delicious!

To make a desert, it must taste sweet and soothing.

Fruits,themselves, are both healthy and sweet!

Basically , all deserts depends on fruits.

Here, I am willing to share the recipe of the 'mango soup':

Ingredients:

A mango,diced(of course, a mango!)

fruit juice, preferably mango juice(450ml).

Small amounts of lemon juice (to people who might hate it to be too sweet).

Mini jelly beans(need i say more?SO CHEWY!)

An egg's white(to thicken the solution).

How to:

Blend all ingredients and mix well.

Serve chilled.

Experience it for yourself!

->I have keen interest in reading (looking at pieces of information), drawing (scribbling random pieces of information), bench work(creating objects with wood ) , fixing and upgrading electric appliances (repairing machines that help us to do work better ).

->My favorite pastime(things to do to let time past by quickly) is computer and console gaming( controlling virtual avatars to take over the world for you)Actually ,I am quite good at it!.

->My family (Earthlings who created me) show me lots of love (show of affection )and care (similar to love).

they provided me a good chance to study at a good school(A place where information is passed on) gave me a nice house(a shelter) to live in, and good food to eat(consumables).They do have high hopes(wish or dream) for me to do well in my studies(what we do in school).

-> Myself, slightly crazy(out of the box) and hooked up with science(your technology) wants to grow up (reach the state of maturity) to be a scientist(one who tries to catch up with your technology) .OR, maybe a coroner(he who performs an autopsy).
